Domaine Fernaand Girard

Domaine Girard is run by Fernand and Monique Girard, where the family come from several generations of winemakers in the tiny village of Chaudoux.

Domaine Fernand Girard Sancerre is perfectly clean, crisp mineral palate with lemon and green apple flavours. Moreover it has beautiful hints of elderflower on the nose. Firstly the wine opens with delicate grapefruit, quince and white-flower aromas. This is followed by crisp, citrus flavours balanced with bracing acidity and a touch of creaminess. As a result, the finish is long-lasting and dry with a lovely fruity balance.
